Founded in 1994 by Joseph P. Gross, Gross Electric, Inc. began like many great American success stories in a garage. Just one year later, the company became incorporated and began building a strong reputation for excellence in electrical contracting throughout Upstate New York.
As demand grew, so did the business. By 1996, Gross Electric had moved to its first official shop on Big Bay Road in Queensbury, NY. Over the next nine years, the company tripled its staff and revenue. In 2005, we expanded into our current 135,000 sq. ft. facility at 27 Silver Circle in Queensbury, where we continue to operate today as the Capital Region’s largest electrical contractor and a major presence across the East Coast.

Gross Electric was founded in 1994 by Joseph P. Gross. One year later came Gross Electric Incorporated. Like many other successful businesses, Gross Electric began in a small garage. In 1996, the company moved its shop and office to a facility on Big Bay Road in Queensbury, NY. Gross Electric, Inc. continued to grow over the next nine years, tripling its office staff and revenues. In 2005, the company expanded and moved to its current larger location at 27 Silver Circle, in Queensbury, NY. This is where it operates today as one of the largest electrical contractors in the capital region and the northeast.
