SARATOGA COUNTY WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT• SARATOGA, NY

The work performed at this project involved upgrades to the existing primary substation (replacing both substation transformers), new duct banks and manholes for new plant upgrades, new medium voltage switches and transformers, power guard energy saving devices, two new diesel generators and associated switches, conduit and conductors in classified and non-classified areas for plant upgrades, replace and add new motor control centers throughout the facility. Complete wiring of new UV system. All work was completed with the existing facility remaining in full operation throughout the project.

     
    SARATOGA COUNTY WATER TREATMENT PLANT• SARATOGA, NY

    The work performed on this project was an entire new facility consisting of seven buildings at two sites. Gross Electric, Inc. installed and designed seismic foundations  buildings for electrical substations, transformers, and generator pads. Installation of multiple 15KV substations. Distribution and instrumentation concrete duct banks  manholes (site wide). 1500 KW generators, paralleling gear, and ATS switches. Multiple motor control centers and large variable frequency drives. Seismic cable tray systems (all buildings). Power distribution and instrumentation conduit, cabling  terminations for all buildings and equipment, including pumping stations, storage tanks, chemical feed systems, pall filter rack systems. Complete token ring fiber networked fire alarm system, card access, CCTV monitoring system, along with the remote monitoring solar powered security system.
